When it comes to Mental Health Quality, something as simple as changing the words you use to describe a situation can validate a person's self-worth and their right to quality support.


Applying the label "someone who struggles with mental health' may contribute to a delay, or even the prevention of, seeking support. If someone believes they are 'struggling' they may believe they are failing, not strong enough, and not worth helping.


Acknowledging that someone is Experiencing a Mental Health Need is the first step in supporting that need.
